This past week, we took a trip to Surfside Beach with a group of friends and their kids. We had a great time and Jocelyn really enjoyed playing on the beach.
Of course we had to conserve energy on the way down, so Jocelyn took a little nap in the car Tuesday before we got there.
She followed her friend Chelsea around all week and one night they even got to be twins in matching pajamas (they just happened to have the exact same ones). Chelsea is about to start kindergarten! What a cutie and she was so sweet letting Jocelyn tag a long.
Jocelyn spent lots of time playing in the water and building sandcastle-blobs on the beach with Thaden and Owen. Although with Thaden and Owen, there was more throwing of the sand than actually building anything.
The weather was very nice and sunny, with pretty strong winds. We took lots of breaks and kept well hydrated!
The house we stayed in was very large with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and accomodated all 20 of us quite nicely. We ate like kings! Many thanks to everyone for cooking and keeping us well fed. Jocelyn slept very well at night after a long day in the sun, running around and splashing in the water.
